EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES & GAMES:
Child can Stack Cones according to color - helps hand & eye coordination, & color recognition (see picture) Stack Cones randomly and push over tower after stacking - cause & effect, Group like colors together.
Use Cones all of one color to see which color your child responds to best. See if child can pick this color out if put in a group of different colors.
Let child play alone to see what they do with Cones such as: stack, roll on the floor, put on side, turn upside down, put to mouth, look through, hit on floor, etc.
Use as puppet stand
Use in water or in sand.
Use Cones as Bubble Blower - put large end in small dish of bubbles and blow through small end Use as Horn to make music
Play Bowling - Use 10 Cones and 2 balls and set up like bowling alley pins.(see picture) Stand close to cones and roll ball. Roll as many times as necessary for child to feel that they have knocked down the cones. For more challenge move back some so there is a longer distance to the Cones. Inside put cones in a corner and let child either stand or sit. If sitting spread legs wide and roll ball toward the cones. As the ball returns the child maybe able to catch the ball. Use a lighter ball if child throws the tennis ball too hard instead of rolling it.
Play Ring Toss - (2 rings included in this set)
Use as Telescope - use masking tape and tape colored saran wrap around the large opening (older kids)
