Im Jakob and I am one handsome fella with some pretty noteworthy ears. I was told that I am a Lab/Pointer/Husky mix but really who cares about labels, Im just a big ole bucket of love. I like to brag to my friends that I am completely housebroken, yep, I have friends! I am only a year and a half so Foster Mom says I have a lot of energy to burn, and doggie friends are the best way to do that! I have a foster brother that I get along great with, he loves to play and run just like me! I would love a brother or sister in my forever home, but I would happily be with a human who promises to play with me lots! After I tucker myself out, I transform into a love bug. Snuggle is my middle name people. Although if I could have TWO middle names theyd be Snuggle and BellyRub. When Foster Mom so much as pats me on the head I melt to the floor (tummy up) just to let her know Im available for a belly rub. She usually laughs and keeps doing whatever she was doingI dont get whats so funnybelly rubs are serious business! I am also Mr. Manners (so many nicknames!), no pulling on my leash, no begging, no jumping up (unless you say its okbecause Ive learned couches are prime time for snuggles and belly rubs), and, unlike some other species, when you tell me no I almost always listen. I always go into my crate when Im that I like it very much. When my Foster Mom walks away I bark because I just like being with people rather than alone in my crate, but its something were working on together. I love being around people so much that when my Foster Mom is getting ready for work, I like to hide from her! If they cant find me then they wont be able to leave! ha HA! But they always find me.and then I mosey on over to my cratesigh. One of these days I will win. I am kid-friendly, although I would probably do best in a forever home with kids who are a little older and understand how to play with me. I have never met a cat in my short life, so I am not really sure how I would react when I saw onehopefully Ill find out one day, they sure look funny from a distance!
