Job Details:
Our firm is in search of a Doctor of Medicine or Science- based Ph.D with several years experience in the medical device/biologics or pharma industry. The qualified candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing policies, procedures, practices and strategy for the Clinical Safety functions across the company’s clinical research institute.
Qualified Visa candidates will be considered.
Key roles and oversight include: standard procedure and safety template development, adverse event report and adjudication process, input and outputs for clinical studies and reports, safety event review and notification process for clinical studies and post-commercial release.
This position coordinates AOP/departmental planning, provides the clinical strategies to ensure appropriate implementation of key business initiatives, and is responsible for costs/methods/employees. The position provides the Clinical Safety Operations interface and represents the company both internally and externally.Qualified candidates should posess excellent communication skills with physician staff.This is a position that involves the management of people and budgets. Global team consists of 20 direct reports in which these folks are clinical research professionals.The successful candidate should also have advanced knowledge of safety concepts, ICH and FDA guidelines related to the management of safety data and reporting, advanced knowledge of US and international regulatory reporting requirements for product safety.Must be able to relocate to the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate should also have 3 years of direct experience in safety surveillance, 3 years clinical practice experience and 5 years of people mgnt experience.
